Abstract

This paper clarifies the five espects of the development of human-economic geography education in China's middle school's:
1. The Change of middle school georaphy, curriculum;2. the changing thought of the theory on the velationship between man and environment;3. the change of knowledge structure;4. the deepening of ideological education in contents;5. the Changing thought of geography teaching.
The main changes are as follows:from the seperate subject of human economic geography to integrated courses of human-economic geography, physical geography, regional geography and systematic geography;using the man-land harmonism as the guide of the curriculum and teaching materials;using the environment, resources and population problems as the main content of regional geography and systematic geography;strenghtening the ideological education on patriotic education, home land-facts education, global sense, enviromental consciousness and ideological education;developing the intellgence and the capability of the students.
